斜め方向に伸びて連続した　しましま模様は好きな模様の1つです。

ヘリンボーン　日本でいう杉綾　そして矢羽模様あたりも好きです。

今回のプロジェクトは　Holst garn coast で
身頃にヘリンボーン柄を入れた　Vネックのカーディガン。
ダークネイビーの濃い色に表目と裏目の陰影が
さりげなく柄をつくり浮かび上がらせているような雰囲気のものを
編もうと考えています。

このヘリンボーン柄をどう編むか？

いろいろ試し編みをして　ようやく模様が決まりました。

Diagonal Seed Pattern
cast on a multiple of 4sts.
Row1(RS) :* K3,P1 ; rep from * to end.
Row2(WS) : P1,*K1,P3 ; rep from* to last 2sts, P2.
Row3: K1,*P1,K3; rep from*to last 3sts,P1,k2.
Row4: *P3,K1 ; rep from* to end.
Repeat these 4rows 4times.
Row1(RS):K1,*P1,k3 ;rep from* to last 3sts, P1,K2.
Row2(WS) : P1,*K1,P3 ; rep from* to last 3sts, K1,P2.
Row3 : *K3,P1 ; rep from* to end.
Row4 : *P3,K1 ; rep from* to end.
Repeat these 4rows 4times.

裏目1目が右方向と左方向に伸びていくこの模様
そのまま使うと　よこ縞になってしまいますが
身頃を横方向に編めば　たて縞のヘリンボーンになりますよね。
